Tinjauan Pengelolaan Olahraga Rekreasi Arung Jeram Dikawasan Wisata Geopark Merangin

Abstract

Management of rafting recreational sports in the Geopark tourism area of Merangin Regency, in general some managers or tour guides do not apply good management arrangements during rafting recreational sports activities. This study aims to determine the management of rafting recreational sports in the Geopark tourist area. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were 21 people who are members of the recreational sport rafting. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Thus the number of samples in this study were 21 people. The instrument for obtaining data was using a questionnaire with a Likert scale and data collection was carried out during the exercise.
The results of the research can be revealed that the management of the rafting recreation sport in the Geopark tourism area of Merangin Regency is divided into several indicators, namely (a) the management of planning & organization is classified as very good, (b) the management of services is classified as very good, (c) the management of facilities & infrastructure is classified as good. , (d) security management is very good, so it can be said that the average answer to the research on the management of recreational sports rafting in the tourist area of the Geopark Merangin Regency with the level of achievement in 21 people is classified as good. This is evidenced by an average value of 61.90%.
