Gambaran Pemeriksaan Fungsi Gerak Pada Pemain Olahraga Bola Basket Club Larak’s di Batusangakar, Kabupaten Tanah Datar

Abstract

The game of basketball is a sport that requires physical contact with opponents, therefore injuries often occur during practice and matches. Functional Movement Screening (FMS) is a system used to assess possible injuries. A quantitative assessment method called Functional Movement Screening evaluates the body's capacity for functional movement. The aim of this research is to use the Functional Movement Screening (FMS) method to explain the function of the movement abilities of Larak club basketball players in Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency. Cross-sectional methodology combined with a quantitative descriptive technique is used in this study. The thirty Larak club basketball players in Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency, who were chosen by the total sampling method, served as the sample for this study. The purpose of this study is also to investigate the connection between player injury incidence and FMS results.
According to the results of the Practical Development Screening (FMS) evaluation, larak's club ball players in Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regime, have a high risk of suffering sports injuries. Furthermore, it was discovered that there was an imbalance in the strength of the muscles on the left and right sides of the body. Additionally, the results demonstrated that although the Larak's club had a very high characteristic capacity for beneficial ball player design, the club's natural capacity for adaptability and engine control remained low.
