Abstract

The problem in this study is that the physical condition of the Sepaktakraw Athletes from the Balai Baru Club (BBTC) team in Padang City is unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the physical condition of the components of agility, flexibility, explosive power and coordination of Balai Baru Club (BBTC) Athletes of Padang City. This type of research is descriptive. The research was conducted on 16 February 2023 – 17 February 2023 in the field where the Sepaktakraw Team was practicing at Balai Baru, Padang city. The population of this study were the Sepaktakraw Athletes of the Balai Baru Club Team (BBTC) Padang City and the sample to be studied was U12 - U15 as many as 10 people using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by measuring agility variables with shuttle run runs, flexibility with sit and reach, explosive power with vertical jumps and coordination by testing kicking the ball with the feet towards the target. Data processing using descriptive frequency tabulation and average P=f/nX100%. The results of the physical condition ability research show: a) the average agility ability is 12.40 seconds classified as good category, b) the average flexibility ability is 19.70 cm classified as good category, c) the average explosive power ability is possessed is 42.80 cm belonging to the moderate category, d) coordination possessed by athletes with an average value of 9.70 belonging to the moderate category.
